Lexington Flying Pigs to Host 3rd Annual Whatever It Takes Night Honoring Joel Lockhart on June 23

LEXINGTON, NC – June 22, 2026 – The Lexington Flying Pigs are proud to announce the return of one of the organization's most meaningful traditions as the team hosts its 3rd Annual Whatever It Takes Night on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Holt-Moffitt Field as the Flying Pigs take on the Queen City Corndogs.

Created to honor the memory and legacy of Joel Lockhart, Whatever It Takes Night celebrates individuals who embody determination, perseverance, selflessness, and the unwavering commitment to overcome life's challenges, no matter the obstacles. The event has become a cherished tradition for the Flying Pigs organization, bringing together families, friends, and community members to recognize those who truly live the "Whatever It Takes" mindset every day.

Joel Lockhart's legacy continues to inspire countless people throughout Davidson County and beyond. Through the efforts of his daughter, Tara Smith, and the continued support of the community, the Whatever It Takes movement has grown into a powerful reminder that success is achieved through hard work, resilience, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make a difference.
