LEXINGTON FLYING PIGS TO HOST "WHATEVER IT TAKES" NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK

The Lexington Flying Pigs are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting a special "Whatever It Takes" night at the ballpark on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Holt-Moffitt Field in Lexington, NC. This event aims to celebrate resilience, perseverance, and the spirit of overcoming challenges, inspired by the "Whatever It Takes" movement in memory of Joel Lockhart.

Joel Lockhart was a passionate advocate for facing life's challenges head-on. Tara Smith, Joel’s daughter, has been driving the "Whatever It Takes" movement in his memory. Tara Smith, daughter of Joel Lockhart, will be present at the event to share her thoughts on what baseball and softball meant to her father. In a heartfelt quote, Tara expresses, "My dad, Joel Lockhart, was a firm believer that sports, particularly baseball and softball, teach us invaluable life lessons – teamwork, resilience, and the importance of giving whatever it takes to achieve success. This event is a tribute to his legacy and a celebration of the unwavering spirit he embodied."
